Is this a product anyone uses

ive seen people use it before....you can easily make one out of an airstone, air pump, some tubing and a coke bottle
if you are doing cakes, stick with perlite...if you are doing casings in a large terrarium that is too large for the casings to sustain the right humidity on their own..it will help

if its a huge space you are trying to humidify...that wont be enough....it should be enough for a mid sized rubbermaid though

thats what im setting up a mid-small tub for fruting like 2-4 cakes at a time. i m gonna have a rack ion the bottom and a drain do there is no pooling water..

if you are doing cakes...i dont think this thing alone with bring enough humidity ....
use perlite

ok .. ill use pearlight at the bottom.. but ill still build one and use it.. just cuz its easy.
