You didnt provide all the info, like where it was found dirt, grass, cow pie, horse pie, woods, and what state your in for possible miss id's (some noobs think things look active when there not)

Alan's right - it's easy for any newcomer to overlook the rules.  Who hasn't asked a dumb question?  Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt and no one deserves to be flamed for an honest mistake.  :heart:

I mean I know its hard on noobs but I was a noob too, and Im glad I had the patience to see through it. I think if more people had just a little bit of that virtue THEY could overlook THAT!

Agreed, but it's tiresome to remind (or watch others remind) newcomers to read the ID request format.

I think this problem could be mostly avoided if the ID format automatically pasted into the original post when making an ID request.
