Hey all. Well, lets get started

Habitat: See above pic. Under a tree, lots of bark all over the ground.

Cap: smooth

Spore print color: none yet

Bruising: pinched a stem about 3-4 hrs ago, nothing yet.

Location: Bay Area.

Sorry if its not enough info, I'll get some more later.

Thanks all.

Looks like Stropharia riparia. The larger one on the right with darker gills looks like an Agaricus, but it is also probably a Stropharia.

They look like they could possibly be P. caerulipes, but you won't know until, or if, they blue. The spores looks a rust-brownish-purple... you can see it on some of the caps. No need to take a spore-print... this would correlate to P. caerulipes, but unless they blue, it's probably a no-go. I don't know much about mushrooms, other than various actives, so I couldn't tell you if it was something different. These guys would know better than I.

I've never heard of wild P. caerulipes in the Bay Area, CA. and the spore print would be dark purple brown - no rust whatsoever.

Oh sorry I was just saying OMG about that guy that said P. ceurilupes had rusty spores. Sorry I wasn't responding to you ID request.

But to make things better, it's an inactive Stropharia.
