Do you need to let the jars cool down to room temp before you inoculate the jars after PC?

absolutely. in fact, wait till the next day because more than likely when the PC is cool, temps inside the jars are still too hot for spores and will kill them. patience is a virtue

Spores die at 90-96F, A pc a 15 psi gets up to 250f. so yeah let them cool overnight in the PC.

I use a still air glove box like RR's, There are no gloves attached to it just two big holes to stick your hands in. If you want to attach the glove get some large pvc pipe that will fit the holes then stretch to gloves over the pvc and glue it in place

It depends on were and how you use it. If can afford to make an enclosed glove box do it there deferentially better.

if you get some tyvek sleeves and a pair of latex gloves you wont have any problems. works great. i ve been using this method for about 2 months now with a zero contam rate. just make sure you disenfect your glovebox prior to using it. (im prob over sterile though, i wear a mask a hairnet and shower always right before i use my glovebox)

I don't know about jars but after I microwaved my casing mix I just put it in the fridge for an hour or so and they were cool enough to use.

I have everything for a glovebox but for some reason I cant get my gloves to sick on the box itself. WHen Im putting my hands in or out of the gloves, they just tear away...

they dont have to stick. tyvek sleeves and latex gloves is all you need. the tyvek sleeves are sorta bulky so if you cut the holes in your glovebox just a little bigger than your arms the sleeves fill in the gaps. if you want to be extra safe just gorilla tape a couple pieces of tyvek from the post office over the holes and cut a small x in the middle so it s nice and tight when your arms enter.

who knows, you should of waited alot longer than that. are you that impatient to just throw all your work away? i think personally that is way to soon. they were probabally still warm to the touch which means the inside of your jars could still be warm rnough to kill your spores. you'll just have to wait and see now.
