This wont work basically Ive trouble with my cakes bluing in the fc Ive taken a flush from one and dunked it for a full 24 hours as it went very blue and the other cake that has yet to pin is starting a very little to blue and was also dunked for 24 hours Ive a small tank as my fc with 2 inch's of perlite in sufficiently wet and i started spraying but don't seem to work Ive only 80 ish humidity so Ive taped up all the holes in the fc except a strip in the lid and have added a bubbler , I'm not sure my hydrometer is working properly either so cant really go by that at the mo till i get a good one and also using the bubbler even though the box is on the out side of the tank has raised the temp to 78 f can any one see any problems or add anything thanks GD

Dunk them man, the bluing is caused by bruising of dehydration.

Same problem i have, cakes seem to get dehydrated even after dunking.
Your humidity is your problem, try adding another few inches of damp perlite, and make sure you have holes in the right places, not to many and not too big.
Something u may have to play about with until you get you rh up.

A hygrometer, properly calibrated, will definitley take some guess work out of your technique. Blueing can happen from handling the cakes, spraying the cakes directly with an atomizer, and even in some cases, from being too dry.
