Just wanted to show off my new martha. I'll be using it first to grow some lions mane which I'm currently tracking in my journal (if you want to follow it). I've got the impeller humidifier inside my greenhouse so i don't burn it our and also have an elbow drain piece hooked up to the intake from outside for FAE. I don't see how you could lose w/ this setup. it keeps the humidity at around 99% too! I forget who it was that had the elbow drain piece hooked up that i saw but thanks.

How often does your humidifier run, Mankey?
I love setups like this. Simple, efficient, and effective.

I've got it on 24/7. Thanks for the compliment!
I figure since it's just chains hooked to cheap shelving w/ zip ties its easy to adjust the shelf height. Easier than if I had bought a stationary shelving unit. You can tell how humid it is in the pic of the hygrometer.

Just baffling to me. When I run my impeller more than an hour or so at a time I get significant water drippage and pooling, does this not happen for you? Or how do you deal with it?
Even with my greenhouse wide open, if I run it 24 hours straight I will need some serious mopping up...

Yeah I have to keep mine on a timer, and I still get some dripping/pooling. The bottom drains into a pan I can slide out to dump the water.

Yeah, I get some dripping. I had to move the humidifier from the top shelf to the second one down b/c there were so many drips on the plastic. It's fine now but I have a pan under mine as well to catch the extra. I took a bathtub drain and silicone sealed it to the garbage bag I have attached to the bottom. Where I live the humidity is extremely low so I don't have to worry about it too much. What setting do you have your timer on as far as time on/time off?

I'm running 30 minutes on 60 minutes off, because thats the smallest interval on my timer. I have a hygrometer on the way, which will help me dial it in, but I'm assuming I'll also eventually want a timer that can go down to 1 minute intervals. 24/7 totally soaks my casings.
Nice idea w/ the tub drain...I just put a slit in the bottom of my trash bag floor for drainage.
