So I was dressed in a Bathrobe and a Tinfoil hat, dosed on 3 grams and 3 hits of Cubes and Acid. I was carrying around an "I America" sign, reeking of a 1st graders sense of art direction, and maybe less than the amount of thought of what an actual 1st grader would put into the Patriot Sign. Looking at the sign, I began to think about metaphors, both intended and "quantified" (Quantified, defined in this context, as "using intent and interpretation to assess the present outer and inner stimulus, to later use said stimulus as a tangible means of applied direction and further decision making" In other words, making up your mind, using thoughts as tools)
Intent is quantification using foresight. That foresight might be a combination of wishful thinking, educated guessing, dead certainty, or even any other esoteric measure to make sure your intents go as deliberately planned out. Intention is a planned out series of actions in order to objectify something for personal use (subjectivity) or working with others. Metaphors, Intent, Relativity and Quantification are all tied together, linked intrinsically to the past, future and present.
Relativity is the concept of discerning one object from another. It is in effect, dependence. It is a beautiful, undeniable concept, perhaps romanticized even further based off the fact that my Tinfoil Hat wearing ass thinks about shit like this. Relativity is a also a metaphor to a commonly acknowledged fact that reality is holographic: layered with divine complexity, and almost unpredictable and containing a sense of complete and utter order. It is very much like a musical composition, nearly identical even. It is my point, that because of relativity, a person may use intention to isolate stimulus to create a metaphor which can be used for further intent or quantification. Relativity and awareness of it seems to be the key to better decision making for subjective use.
Isolating is in effect, creating a singularity point by using intent. The notes in musical scales are of course relative, and infinite in descending and Ascending nature. When I play a song on guitar, however, I have to start somewhere. I may choose to play in the Key of A; Creating a singularity point (The Key Note) to produce a "big bang" whence forth all and any combinations of notes may soon follow afterwards. Only because of isolation and relativity can that particular song spring forth, containing qualities, moods, ideas, inspiration, and all other good stuff music does. A song itself is a splendid metaphor for a micro-universe.
Of course, these concepts also collapse in itself, paradox-ally so. Who ever is reading this might decide to view all these ideas as complete and utter garbage; a manifestation of useless thought that can only come from someone as crazy as Tinfoil hatted lunatic. My point is that even if you decide these thoughts (my thoughts) are garbage, it is in fact an act of quantifying using isolation and awareness of relativity, to better assess YOUR current situation. In other words, you might be starting your "song" in the key of B, while mine in the Key of C; Both songs are different and acceptable. How can someone explain how one key is BETTER than another? To me they are merely different: the songs are Relative, which again allows you to isolate, and so on and so on. A holographic way to decide. It really is a decision, in a way, to decide the best song to play at the best time; what is best for you is most important, in this case.
Basically, get what you want out of this read. Isolate my ideas to be crap or gold, or even golden crap (much like some 80's music) Metaphors are grand tools of the mind, used to communicate the most simple to wildest ideas, to later be used for contextual intention and quantification, to isolate relativity for personal or societal/group benefits. You can consider this "article" pretty damn subjective: This is only one of the many ways I process thought, under the influence or not. It is in effect, MY song I'm playing. One intention of the article though, is to maybe show someone how to play the my song, either by ear or reading musical notation. Or at least let you know what keys I can play in, so that some one may harmonize.
