Yup pcik as the veil starts to break, if you want to take prints wait until the open out a little more and you start to see spores dropping. The first pic i can see spores already.

Spores everywhere what a mess LOL,

Is that cake from multi- spore inoc?? whats your secret im having trouble getting cakes pinning like that!!!

I did a dunk and roll on the cakes, I'm guessing that's what helped them fruit so well

I inoculated them in 4 spots, with about 1 cc total, thats about it

I hope my friends cakes turn out that well. Tell me this, how long did you incubate and a what temp? She's also growing GT and they seem to be taking a while.

Incubation was by far the longest part, My cakes were 1 pint, I uncubated at 86 for like 3 weeks and 5 days, they were completely colonized at like 3 weeks and 2 or 3 days, I waited an extra 2-3 days to birth.
After that it's only been like a week and a half since they've gone in the fruiting chamber
pins started after 6 days and those pins are like 3-4 days old now.

The only real problem you will get by taking too long to pick them is getting spores everywhere
