so these are what my cakes look like (top 2 pics) and this is my set-up (bottom pic) iam just wondering if iam getting enough fae with this pmp set-up. the tubs have 2 14" bubble stones in them ran off a 2800 cc per minute dual output pump. i have two 1 1/2" holes drilled in the lid and my humidity is at a constant 98%
i put the cakes in here probabally a week ago (they did sit for a week after full colonization) and still no signs of pins. i know that humidity is not an issue. should i drill some more holes in the top of this to bring down the humidity? what would be some signs of not getting enough fae?
thanks for your comments guys

The holes in the top should be enought to suffice, especially with the pump going at least 4 times a day. I wouldn't worry too much about it, the cakes can have a mind of their own some time... Did you dunk or cold shock?? These will help trigger the Mycelium to pin. I predict you'll be seeing signs of life by this weekend... I could be wrong though.. I couldn't see the pics.

no, i dont fan purley based on the fact that these are in a pmp. i was thinking about it though but i really want to keep this as automated as possible, just wanted to make sure these look like they are getting enough fae w/o fanning. dont know if i need bigger holes or what. i know magash said he only had 1" holes so i dont know

Having your water so high kinda defeats the purpose of using the surface of the hydroton to its fullest by having more surface area. That also could be why your cakes were getting wet. 4 inches of hydroton/geolite 2 inches of water

It shouldnt hinder it and Id leave it alone threw this grow.Since the cakes look good.I was just pointing out how to make your fruiting chamber to be better by using the geolite to get the most surface area out of it.More surface area better humidity. That would also stop the water from getting on your cakes if thats still happening. But it looks like you raised the cakes.Gl man cant wait to see mushys
