*Can you eat dried San Pedro? (Conflicting Info)*

Hey everyone...
I have a fairly limited experience with mescaline. A few years back, I prepared a tea/sludge mixture using a fresh cactus. My friend and I got impatient and drank the tea along with the material used in extraction.
At this time I am able to obtain a huge amount of dried powdered san pedro. I am really intrigued by this offer as mescaline is my favorite psychadelic. I am mainly interested in just consuming the raw powder, but have read conflicting info that this does/doesn't work.
Can someone clarify this? I don't see a reason why this wouldnt work. I know the cacti is difficult to get down, but I'm not worried about that.
Can someone also clarify the alcohol extraction? Basically put the powdered material in a glass with enough alcohol to cover and inch above the powder. Mix for a few days until alcohol evaporates, then consume the resulting product??? Is this correct?
Thanks in advance!

eating the actual san pedro would make you real sick, i think thats why its advised against, at least thats what ive been told. but an extraction would be fine.

yeah you can eat it if you can get it down. or you could grind it in a coffee grinder, and put it in capsules if you want to do it that way.
nausea is part of the experience with almost all psychadelics. it is the price you pay for consuming them.

Yeah I've straight up ate it before. Also just mixed the powder in with orange juice and chugged it too. It took a while and there was something very ritualistic about consuming it raw. Nobody got very sick either.

I tried that too with 25g and I think that it's a good method. In my opinion,it was a lot less disgusting than drinking that atrocious juice extraction which you have to boil down for a couple hours, which is a disadvantage. And you also have more chances of tripping since you are certain to absorb all the alkaloids. It's a bit hard for the stomach within the 2 first hours but with weed it helps a lot to get it down. Not sure if it's a good method with higher dosages tough.
I also tried to cap 35g and I do not recommend it at all!!! As someone else said in another mescaline thread,it gives you a crazy stomach ache rather than anything else, since you have about 50 caps minimum to eat.I was sick for about 5 hours and It also made me puke.In addition,I noticed that the trip was weaker than my previous experience with 25g. I suppose that some alkaloids weren't properly absorbed due to the excessive number of caps...
