Using h2o2 As A Fungicide For Seedlings...

i am currently germinating a load of cacti seed, i did soak the medium with a fugicide before i started but the wooden markers im using appear to have been harbouring some mould spores
well the original fungicide was 85% ammonium carbonate, 15% copper sulphate, diluted in water... but i used it all...
ive got some 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide and im wondering if anyone knows what the safe concentration in water is, so i can blast out my humidity chambers and kill off any mould without killing my seedlings... ???
i have done a bit of searching and the information ive found is contradictive to say the least...

H202 addition
H202, can be added at a rate of 30ml per 1gal of water, and can be added to a hydroponic reservoir, regular waterings, or feedings, and is beneficial to the life of the roots. H202 kills off soil diseases that can end up killing a plant or destroying its roots. this process will however kill off some (not all) good living organisms in the soil.
H202, two hydrogens and two oxygens, like water but with more oxygen. when applied to soil, the extra oxygen group breaks free to be absorbed by organisms and plants, destroying harmful organisms in the process.
plants can only breath oxygen through their roots, and only co2 through their leafs.
H202 is useful in treating especially weak or root-rot prone plants, as well as plants that have gone through a lot of stress.

I have used it it is even good to mix in a little bit for every watering of any plant. It helps aerate the roots. I hate those wooden markers

straight 3% peroxide worked for me once. the soil bubbled away for a while but the cacti babies made it through it.

alright i finally found some useful info...
Quote:

Please be mindful to choose the correct column in the chart depending on whether you are using 3% hydrogen peroxide or 35% hydrogen peroxide!!
As you may notice, the amount of peroxide in the chart for sick and fungusy plants is twice as much as in the first chart. I have heard of people using stronger solutions, but more is NOT always better. So be careful, and when in doubt, stay safe. You can always apply more another day. If you decide to use a bit more, please make it only a bit more, don't get carried away. Gardening with hydrogen peroxide is great, but too much can harm your plants. 10% hydrogen peroxide is recommended as a week killer -- in other words it will kill your plants at that concentration....
