So let me get this straight. If a person were to use an easy outdoor tek (ala Moe )in carefully selected areas, including isolated outdoor wilderness areas, to start patches of shrooms.... These areas would continue to produce mushrooms (with a minimum of maintainance)indefinitely, and even expand? Is anyone else thinking what I am?? Lets all do our part and make these wonderful mushrooms as prolific as possible. Am I off the mark here??

Geez folks, ...I wasn't trying to start any bad vibes. In fact, just the opposite is true. Thanks to all who have helped me get to the point I am now (on my 3rd successful batch of pfc's and my first pf stropharia is about a week away brom birth). I have been a lurker around here and Mycotopia for some time, but am just now starting to feel like spreading my wings a little with respect to cultivation techniques. A really easy outdoor tek is very appealing for many reasons, but I also have many questions. I think the outdoor forum is a great idea and I would certainly be a regular visitor.
As long as I am on the subject (and asking retarded questions)... I understand that contams are a part of life outside, but how do you deal with this as far as it messing up your crop or making things inedible? The same goes for pests like insects, slugs, furry critters, etc.
