The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. You've got to be bullshitting. Youre bullshitting right??
Actually I just discovered soy American cheese and 'tofurkey'. Put them in a sandwhich with veganaise and guacamole and you have yourself a godly meal.

im going to have to look out for this - if it a real soy product (no milk for texture/flavor) then im down.
im also gearing up to switch over to partial vegetarianism. That thread about animal cruelty really moved me. I want to begin to make changes in my life, and i feel that eating less poison fear-meat may help. More fish, less 4 footed animals. Im already not able to eat any dairy or eggs.(allergies) So I think it will not be such a hard transition. Plus my mind will be more at ease.

Rum could taste good in nog', I was thinking more like vodka.
At the health food store, they have this soymilk, but it's like that mexican drink with cinnamon and brown sugar. I always loved that stuff. Today is payday, so maybe they have this soynog. I could really see it tasting better honestly. And I really liked eggnog, but that stuff they sell in the carton in winter is so gross. I never want to eat raw eggs again.

I LOVE soymilk, pretty much gave up on normal milk, just tastes funny. But Soynog sounds interesting, id give it a shot.
The one soy thing i just couldnt get used to was soymilk coffie creamer. I have only a few cups a day, and im going to black coffie again, to get of the dairy, but soy creamer was not too tasty.

Interesting. The soy creamer I used before was pretty tasty. It had a decent amount of oil to it though.
Everyone has different taste buds, but I wouldn't expect it to taste like dairy. Creamy, but not dairy.

I fail to see the point in such a thing unless someone is lactose intolerant.

To my knowledge the human body is not made to properly digest milk past like 5 years old.
Soy is a lot healthier for you.
Don't get me wrong though, I love my milk lol.

The human body is meant to digest human milk, not milk from other animals.

You're both correct. Babies arn't meant to consume human milk after several years either. If i recall correctly, the child produces a special enzyme when it is young that helps it digest milk but we lose it or a lot of it when we grow older.

Yes, the enzyme is lactase.
http://www.exploratorium.edu/snacks/milk_makes-me_sick/index.html
That is just the milk sugar issue, though, there is also an issue of the milk protein being incompatible with our digestive system, as well as the high levels of saturated fat in whole milk and milk products.
