waking up fucking sucks, especially if you have to go to class unless it's a good one but even then, it still sucks.

I get to sleep later on days I go to school than days I go to work. I have to be up at 5:30 in the morning to go to work, the sun is just barely coming up when I get there. And thats pretty much every day except tuesday and thursday. A steady prescription to amphetamine helps out alot though.

I usually set about three alarms that go off before I actually get up. One at 6:30 to remind me I need to be up in 2 hours. One at 8:00 to remind me my ass needs to be and in the shower in 30 minutes.
And last, at 8:30 my final alarm goes off and all hell breaks loose. I leave the warmth of my blankets, and off to hell for the day.

Do you go to Emory? Thats the only school I know of that has an aquatics class/requirement.
For the record: I've been to my 9am Wednesday class twice this semester

my 4.5hours of sleep last night after being wasted led to a hungover morning and vomiting up my lunch in the student center this afternoon - glorious.

Nah, it was at a smaller school in upstate NY. It was a requirement for phys. ed. majors. I took one semester, realized how pointless a "phys. ed." major would be and then switched to science.

waking up for class is nothing compared to waking up to go to WORK at a JOB in the REAL WORLD, you lazy hippy.
If you can't handle waking up at 10AM to go to class for a couple hours then spending the rest of the day smoking pot, you're in for a rude awakening to a life full of disappointment. Because it only gets worse when you're older.

The only way you can avoid bosses and jobs is if you don't care about making a living. Which leads to the second freedom: the freedom to starve." - Tom Morello

I don't know why, but for some reason it's easier for me waking up at 6am for work than it was in college waking up at 7am for my 8:00 class.

No way man! waking up to go to a boring ass day of classes is WAY worse than waking up to go to work, in my opinion.
I guess it all depends wether or not you enjoy the work/or class youre going to. I actually like going to work most of the time, and i dont really mind if i have to wake up early. not too early though, like 6 or 5 though, fuck that.

I remember on the morning of 9/11 I was headed to community college and it was really pissing me off that I couldn't find any music on the radio.
Then after about 10 minutes of frustrated flipping around the dial I actually started listening to what was being said and I was like: "Whoa, shit."
But it didn't sink in fully until I saw the images of the plane hitting projected 10 feet high in my government classroom. When the first tower fell, my professor told us all to go home.
I went out in the courtyard and ALL the students were out there, some of them standing on tables shouting political opinions. Kind of a crazy scene so I bailed back to the pad.
Spent the rest of the day smoking weed and watching CNN.
