WBS QUESTION

I have been using wbs but this time I did something a little different. I cleaned and then simmered pure millet and then let it sit for a few days before I put it back in jars and then pressure cooked it. I noticed a weird smell as I was putting the wbs back in jars just before pc-ing. Is this still ok to use? Or did letting it sit out cause mildew or a bacteria bloom?

you smelled fermentation.. i've used fermented WBS plenty of times with same results. pressure cooking will kill any bacteria associated with the wbs.
