1) Would it be a good idea to dunk my cakes for a day or so before crumbling and casing?
2)what thing can I add to my 50/50 peat/verm casing to increase yield(potentially)

if you dunk your cakes for more than 24 hours thell defently be dead. you dont have to dunk them if you just take them out of the jars and crumble them then put with the casing. as long as the casing is wet.
none of the teks say to dunk them befor that, if your just using cakes with no casing, dunk in between flushes.

you can dunk a casing?????????????? wouldnt it just fall apart. i dont beleive you need to cause the peat and vermiculite around it holds in moisture. cakes dont have the layers like casings so they dry out really easy.
