did you use a LC or MS injection? LC is faster showing growth in 3-5 days most often. MS injections take about 7 days or more to start to show signs. just wait abit longer and see what happens.

Chances are if your jar's are supporting trich already that they were not properly sterilized to begin with and the jar's with no growth are more then likely harboring bacteria, smell them.

Well, im not sure. inoculated them in a chamber through holes in the lid with a syringe. I messed up when sterilizing them and forgot the put fooil over them but, i soon remebered after like 25 min. and i opened one to see if it was wet inside but it wasnt so i didnt tought any others. but there is two more jars that have started to colonize a little and they arent showing any sign of contam.

That sounds quite an average rate. Hold tight.

That doesn't make any sense. If he improperly sterilized, he did so at astoundingly low temperatures. More likely than not the needle was improperly sterilized, or they were not inoculated/kept in sterile conditions.

I'm pretty damn sure it was one of the ones that i opened because the syringe was kept sterile and i did it in a chamber that i whiped with alocohol first.

If you have mold infection then, its most likely that your jars got infected at inoculation.
How did you sterilise, steam or pressure cook. How long.
Did you use a glove box for sterilisation.
And could all these new fold stop posting, its been 3/4/5/6 days since inoc and no signs/onlyx growing.
the earliest signs of germination is 3 days and can sometimes take upto a week. If it gets to 2 weeks then u can start worrying.
Also be very carefully of sniffing suspected contamination jars, trust me u do not want to smell bacterial infection directly, i made that mistake once with a grow bag, got a wiff of something that resemebled week amonia, my nose tingles for days and thought. Thankfully it went away but i was worried that some bacteria was gonig to eat my nose away.
Read the teks, everything is in there, apart from maybe a few of the teks still state 86F as the optimal incubation temps.
Incubate at room temperature is fine, but no more than 80-82F, Myc growth slows down after 83F and higher temps favour the growth of other unwanted organisms

Man, i was just looking at it and i think it might just be the reflection of something in the room. im not really sure. Steam steralized the jars for 90 min. let them cool for 2 1/2 hours and put them in my incubation chamber. exacly like the rr vid. sterilized he tip of the needle after every jar and wipe the tip with alcohol to rid the butane crust. it was a proper procedures i would have o say. but it is a first time thing. I was hoinking it would take like 5 days o see signs liek the one in the vid. bt yeah ill just give it a while and be pattient.
