mini green house

I found some of these mini green houses here:

at a local walmart and at another place.. i noticed they dont have a bottom.. like the bottom of them aint sealed with plastic... I was wondering for people who use these should they be totaly sealed? like they need a bottom peice to the tent?

They should be reasonably closed at the bottom, yes.

this dude seems to be using the same thing.. it dont look like he as the bottom sealed just a peice of cardboard under it..

by having it open that just runs more of a risk of contams?

A neighbor has one of these. She said she bought it for $20. I saw it and thought it would be perfect. I was planning buying one and sealing the bottom somehow, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

I good way to seal it would be get a sterile good bottom peice, and just buy some 2 part apoxy. Apoxy is pretty cheap ~5 bucks, and will hold and be air tight if you do the seal correctly, good luck to you.
