Question about Xbox 360 models
    #7573109 - 10/29/07 02:07 PM (16 years, 3 months ago)

I'm going to buy one soon and I'm trying to decide between the Elite and the Premium. For all I can tell, the only difference with the Elite is the color and the extra 100GB of hard drive space. Is that true?

What good does all the extra space do? Can you only download content from Microsoft's service or can I put my own videos and stuff on there?

Also, how do I know if I'm getting the 65nm processor core?

There is also a newer version with HDMI if you wanted that.

I thought that the Premium had HDMI 1.2 now. Oh, I think it's called the Pro instead of the Premium now, right?

Yeah, I definitely want HDMI. It's the only way my TV will display 1080p.

I think its the arcade one that has HDMI. They're also releasing one with 65nm processors next year but I don't you want to wait for it.

many of the models have hdmi...all the elites, some of the pro's, and all the arcades...if you get a pro, just make sure that the box has the hdmi symbol on it. Other than that, if the elite is a lot more expensive, i would go with pro, its only a matter of time before you will be able to put your own hdd in the box...

also, i still didn't think they have relesed the 65nm cpu yet...

peace

I think they've released the 65nm CPU core as of September. I just can't find out how to tell if I would have one.

It's the 65nm Graphics core that won't come out until August of next year.

Ok.

Then I'm just completely wrong. My bad. Apparently you have to search for one that was manufactured very recently to get one.
