Spore print problems

I put three Copelandia cyanescens caps in an air tight box which had been rubbed with methanol/ethanol on some foil which had also been rubbed with methanol/ethanol. I left the caps on the foil overnight in the box but, silly me, the condensation coming from the mushrooms built up and left the spores in part solution. The question is - Are they still going to be viable to make a spore syringe, or is contamination too likely?
Thank you and I'm looking forward to joining this community. Mind

I would say contamination is pretty likely.

What's "too likely"? Depends on the spore count in your house, and the time it took you to enclose the print. I'd advise doing some agar work...

When taking spore prints, u dont want it air tight, for the very reason u have experienced, u need to let humidity escape so the cap can dry while dropping spores and so your cap doesnt get soggy and rott.

OR you can put a strong desiccant in the container to soak up the humidity and slowly dry the caps while they drop spores

It would be easier to just let humidity escape by not using an airtight container, i used my glovebox (which just has holes for my arms)
I have oven bags, so put my printing medium (foil) into these bags sterilise in oven then transfer to glovebox, open oven bag and transfer cap to foil, cap dries nicely.
If your really worried about contamination of print, the u can transfer to a second piece of foil after 4 hours, if there were contam spores on the shroom then they will hopefully have dropped in the first 4 hours.
