The more time he spends in office... the more I wish I lived back in California.

I also like him...its a shame he can't run for president. He would of probably had a good chance of winning.

I was going to express as much. Apparently, he is a politician that aims to represent the people he is representing, from what I hear. I haven't into him too much, however.

I agree. I wish he was my governor. NY sucks compared to CA, although it is quite a bit cheaper up here.

Weird ain't it? For a state like CA that has so much available land, the prices sure are expensive as shit.

Yeah, no shit. When we moved from Vacaville to NY, my parents sold their house their for ~175K. Houses in our old neighborhood are now selling in the ballpark of 600K. The hell with that. Where I live now, 600K buys one hell of a house with a lot of land. I wouldn't pay anymore for that house than what my parents sold it for. 600K? Are people fucking nuts?

It's not like you all think. Sure, he may say marijuana isn't a drug now. So why did he veto Jack Herer's latest hemp bill? (If you don't know its contents, I suggest looking it up)
He has not been helpful with Medical Marijuana patients in California. At first, his office said we had his ear and they were listening to the patients' complaints, etc. Then he turned his back on us.
He's not the super-governor that you all make him out to be.
It is nice to see this news, but I really doubt it will bring us any beneficial changes...

yea... you're probably right
This was probably just his way of just responding to charges that he was a pothead
I still think he's a better governer than most, though... at least he ended up that way

I figure someday he's gotta get himself a position in someone's cabinet, right?

Available desert, you mean.
People have already settled in the parts of the state that are hospitable to development or aren't already controlled by strict development measures.
They've even settled in places that really aren't that well suited for living as demonstrated by our annual fire storms.
