All right, so I've been contemplating buying a stalk or two off of Ebay to give this shit a try. It is pretty expensive and there is a lot of time that goes into preparing it. Well, is it really worth all that. Whats your opinion.

never bought any online but have lived in desert areas and taken cuttings from a few cactus, eaten foot long amounts fresh, got very little effects, but some say boiling them down to a mush and straining over the liquid may work, some that look like the active 1,s r not active apparently, maybe look into ayahuasa blends syrian rue + caipi can be a decent deal, i have yet to do those, but will soon as the gov. will most likely be criminalizing them soon like everything else they can meddle in and interfere with

Mescaline is one of the finer psychedelics out there, right along side the goodies in our friend the magic mushroom. If you must do a crude reduction and drink the green fairy puke, so be it. That's the way I first imbibed and I'll tell you that I don't regret it one bit.
On that note, if you live in a warm to hot aired climate, search and ask around at your local nurseries. I know here in Southern California, we have a few garden vendors that specialize in succulents. I've found many a fine trichocereus through these vendors. If you have to order online, I'd strongly recommend that you actually use a part of your cutting to grow out a full cactus. These plants are nearly indestructible, and you should have little trouble getting a fresh cutting to root and grow into a fabulous wonder. The requisite: patience.

i have tried it only one time. i despined and skinned a three foot section and chomped on it like corn on the cob. it was the nastiest most vile tasting thing ive ever ate. took me a couple hours to get it all down, and i puked at least 5 times...
but, after all that i went on one of the most crystal clear psychedelic journeys of my life. it was very different from my previous experimentations with mushrooms. the trip had more of a "sober" feel to it... as in, i didnt have the clouded mind fuck properties and runaway imagination that was present with the mushrooms. the visuals were subtle, very hard to see at first, but once i got the hang of it shit never looked so beautiful. colors were enhanced, details pronounced themselves with authority. very structured, surreal.
i highly recommend, though find a better way to consume it than i did.

I've been reading up on this for awhile now. I think I'll be trying it once I get my first batch of shrooms growing.

yeah mescaline from what ive heard is worth it absolutely. some say its their favorite psychedelic. and i tried some the other day.. drank the horrid stuff.. but i didnt take enough, only got threshold effects barely.. even with 16 inches.. though it seems i have a higher tolerance to psychedelics in general naturally so that could be why. one day i will try again

no fucking wonder you had no effects.
to the topic posters question..... YES! find the AB extraction tek on here, or even the primitive tek, do 1 and a 1/2 to 2 feet per dose and you should not be disapointed at all.

It's great, I love the stuff. I've been doing the everclear extraction, but I'm going to switch to the isopropyl alcohol method and let it evaporate completely, just because I don't like spending so much on everclear.
