Mexicana A info needed

I did some searching but didn't find a whole lot about Mex A. I was wondering if you could grow some on a peatrie and transfer it to grain and use that as a spawn master. I heard that rye seed is a good substrate for Mex A, but don't know what the water to grain ratio is. How do you grow this stuff? Any replies or links would be appreciated.
