Music Experiment.

Halloween night i plan on dosing 3.5g of some fairly potent cubensis mushrooms. The setting will be perfect - a darkly lit room, a futon to lay sprawled out upon, and some incense burning for the good vibes. On such a night, i am planning on conducting an experiment of music and the relevence of 'flashbacks' (if you will) that may be created in respect to listening to that same music days after. I have had many experiences where i had been listening to certain music sober that i had previously listened to in an 'altered state' and be able to reiterate specific thoughts, actions, and altered states of being in my mind. Sort of like when you kiss your lover for the first time and theres a specific song playing in the background; more than likely any time you hear that song from there on out, you are bound to recall some sort of memory from that first kiss occurring.
The entire night will be spent laying on my futon in deep meditation, with a nice set of headphones plugged in and finely tuned to the energy flow throughout my body. During the peak i will listen to one complete album and make a connection (body high[s]) with the musical sound of energy that is created and with my current state of being (thoughts, no thoughts, feelings, no feelings, etc.). The day after i will listen to the same album sober and in the same setting, and attempt to re-establish the same connections i made in tune with the music while i was tripping to see if it is possible to reiterate/recall any psychedelic state experienced the night before. I will post my results in this thread once the experiment is completed. I feel it is highly interesting to see if this will actually work, for it would be of further aid to the learning process of better understanding your trip by being able to recall certain thoughts/feelings and view them in a different perspective (sober).
So. Any feedback would be highly intriguing.

I've had this. I once looked a very loopy cursive hand written sheet constantly while tripping, trying to see how much movement was going. For about a week after whenever I would look at the writing in the same manner I could detect the utter slightest movement.
I wouldn't be suprised that if you're experience is profound enough that this can work more so than you think.

I had my first shroom trip this week, and happened to have some Infected Mushroom in my playlist... a part of a song started playing in super fast speed in my head and made me a little anxious. Just noticed that the same part of that song suddenly sounds bad even when I'm sober As in it actually sounds different and makes me uncomfortable even though I've heard it MANY times before...
Sounds like an interesting experiment, wouldn't mind trying something like that sometime.

I still catch myself digging up emotions from past trips if certain songs or certain trance mixes come on the webradio station I jam to all the time.
Basically, I've heard some seriously incredible, moving shit on there. Compound that the music is already amazing to the fact that I've listened to it a multitude of times tripping, then I'm sure you can see how a song I oftentimes don't even get a chance to look at the name of (because I can't figure out how to turn on the fucking monitor while in another galaxy) can show up on the station's playlist one day and get me grinning and tingling all over and shit.
I love it. I can hear a song or set from AGES ago that played during a trip, and still recall EXACTLY what I was doing and feeling at the time.
