ok so i checked on my casings after not looking at them for a couple days, myc is poking thru, but i also see some little cobweb mold spots on the sides of the containers and a couple on the casing. i remember cobweb mold growing on my cakes my first grow as well. also the saran wrap i used to cover the tops were saturated with water drops. i rigged breathing holes by putting tape over the saran, sliceing the tape, and then coverd the hole with medical tape. i know a solution of h202 will temp. kill the mold but what can i do to git rid of the problem altogether?? i cleaned the tubs good with 90% alcohol, and lysoled the room, clean hands etc. any suggestions? any body else get this problem?? i remember that it didnt seem to effect the grow last time, its just it seems annoying as fuck, and it grows fast and bigger.

well yea, you want them to be able to breath abit untill they are ready to fruit. i use foil that i put slits in with a knife to cover them. works well to help keep light out and sill lets a good bit of FAE.

thats too high of temp you want to keep the temps no higher than 160 otherwise you sterilize and when you sterilize you invite multitudes of nasties to set up shop because you made a free for all for everything.

hmmm, i've always gone 160-170 without much worry of contams. at least havn't had a problem yet going 170. have some poo/straw i spawned 3 days ago doing great and i did it at 170 for 2 hours.
but yea knotty it could be to much humidity, not enough fresh air, and prolly some other stuff i just can't think of off hand. just try letting it get abit more air next time around. or you could try pasturizing at 160 for 2 hours next time and see if there is a difference.
