All except 1 jar so far has this... one is like 30% colonised at day 3!!! I wonder what it is, I'm not sure if I want to let this shit grow, I assume I'd be seeing some funny colours pretty soon. DAMMIT! My first self-made prints...

EDIT: yeah it happened DAMN... the dodgy myc in the center is turning into a dull greenish mess...

Yeah I thought at first because I don't think it looks obscenely different from my first jars that I fruited, but it can't be possible that it has already taken over about 30% of the cake?? Or can it??
I'd have some crazy monster spores, it's growing before my eyes LOL... maybe there's a competition going on. No way my first grow was nearly this fast..
EDIT: I was pretty sure they'd go to the trash when I found my jars with random light colour stuff all over, but I have to see where this is going. Just in a few hours I can see it turning into familiar looking white fluff balls

Time will tell. Often, if you make a really dark syringe, you can see colonization that fast. It's not a good idea though. More spores equal more contaminants too, and they grow faster. Good luck. RR

I did scrape a rather large chunk of spores into the water now that I think about it.... I'll make a note to myself to use less next time!
Thanks for the replies! So at least it isn't a really obvious contam yet if it is one. Just wanted to possibly catch it before I have a nasty monster jar full of mould spores On my first time it grew differently from the start, had some separate fluff balls appearing, and they grew real slow. But I'll keep them for now
EDIT: Damn, well the mycelium hardly grew at all during the night and it still looks dodgy and very thin, not too much pure white fluff. My future grows are screeweedd
