Hypahal knots, primordia, and pins can all be seen in this picture.

typically they look more like little white knots before they become clearly a pin

the strands are usually aerial growth

Very real. The cash was just the casing layer. Here's an early pinning picture.

It does show the hyphal knots and primordia forming quite well though. Currency around the world is usually a hemp-cotton blend, making it an excellent mushroom growing material.

Kknow i am thinking that maybe my cakes aren't pinning. They are getting nice white fuzz on them. But they have been in there for a week and one has been in there for more than a week and has just gotten kinda bumpy and fuzzy. my temp moves from 70-75 usually staying around 71.2 ish my relative humidity is 97-98% at all times.

Is there someting im missing???
