What is your definition of cheap? A few that are drinkable and fairly cheap are Lazo, Beringer, and Kendall Jackson.

Franzia = 5L for $10. I'm no wine connoisseur, but it's definitely drinkable.

I recommend just going to a local small liquor store (not MGM or any of the big ones) and ask them. I did that last week with the same question and walked out with Jacob's Creek Shiraz Vintage 2004 for $10 and Beringer Founders Estate 2004 California Merlot for $7. Now obviously I don't know shit about wine but I thought they were good tasting.

I got a bottle of the yellow tail shiraz. Havn't tried it yet, but it was not too expensive, around 6 dollars.

i make my own. 5 gallons at a time. all it costs is 4 gallons of grape juice, 5lbs of sugar and 5 packets of yeast. comes out to less than $15 for 5 gal., so what like $3 a gallon. its fucking good too. nice and strong.

It's not super potent, so the gallon goes pretty quick. Pretty good stuff considering the price, though I can't remember what the price is right now
