Casing Contaminated?
    #7565718 - 10/27/07 04:22 AM (16 years, 3 months ago)

So I have a casing that looks to have fallen victim. I am not entirely sure, which is why I have come here. Would it be bad to let it continue to grow out if it is indeed contaminated? From the looks of it this morning till when I took this pick there has been a BUNCH of mycelium growth as well as what seems to be the dark stuff turning white, but then again that could just be the new growth.

that doesn't look good .. best thing to do would be to bury it outside and hope for mother nature to take over control of it .

Well it managed to get ahold of a couple others, I have thrown them away and the remaining couple are doing fine.
