found the first ones in my yard and second one i found in the woods by trees and ferns



habbitat yard
gills tannish color
cap purple when its in the ground after u pick it it turns a brownish color has a little bit of a nipple
stem dark purple
bruising stem is already a dark purple when its in the ground
location washington
extra kind smells like fish or something
second



gills whitish/very light purple
capwhite and purple or blue in center
stem white/light purple and very flimsy
brusing stem is a light purple
location washington

Both are inactive.

Your pictures are focusing on the background rather than the mushroom, making it impossible to see.

To avoid this problem, put the mushroom down on the background so the camera has to focus on the background/mushroom because that is the only thing in the shot to focus on. Use the macro setting if your camera has it whenever you photograph mushrooms.

Also try making spore prints and post the spore print colors with your ID requests.

ok will do is there an easier way to figure out if its active like a certain look or smell or something?

If it has dark colored spores and bruises blue, it is probably active. But there is no shortcut, you still need to identify it to species before you eat it.
