grafting san pedro
    #7565044 - 10/26/07 10:37 PM (16 years, 3 months ago)

So I was planning on taking some mescaline for Halloween. The thing is, I don't have a clue how to cut the Pedro... My plan was to take 5 inches off the top and replant it... then also cut the Pedro close to the bottom so it can also keep growing... the middle which I want to use is about 8 inches... So can I do this? would 8 inches be enough? any info or links would be greatly appreciated

a good friend of mine suggests around 15 inches. i talked to you yesterday and i used 16 inches as you know for my extraction. 16 inches of thick large cactus.

and yea thats not grafting. you could cut a small half off and leave it for a while so it roots and you can then plant it... but again as i said if you did that you might not have enough to trip on. depends how much you cut off, how thick and large, and how many inches total.
