my cakes just keep producing full mushies will develope, and pins will start. so how do i know when my flush is over?
do i just pick a time to redunk them?
do i redunk each cake seperately(or together) depending on how they flush?
heres how the cakes look right now, after picking the second pictures mushies off

....btw, i ate those ones immediately after the pic, that fat nasty right there was fresh and delicious!!! it only took about 15 minutes for them to kick my ass! Cultivation is so sweet. i hope i can turn as many ppl on to growing as possible. nothin sweeter than eatin you own!
Thanks Shroomery!

Generally pins will develop in natural flushes, maturing at roughly the same time. After you pick each, dunk for 24 hours. You'll know the cake is spent as it puts out fewer and fewer mushrooms each flush; eventually your cake will either become so unproductive you'll throw it out, or become contaminated.
Specifically with PF cakes, you'll often know the thing is spent when the mycelium won't hold the cake together and it collapses.

ok cool, do i just dunk with all the verm on it, or rinse it off, and re roll it?
im going to dunk the two cakes that ive pulled all the big mushies off of, because it seems all thats left on them is aborts and stalled mushies, while my other cakes are just now starting violent flushes.
i dont see why so many ppl bash cakes, this is my first grow, and they seem to be doing fine. cant wait to see what my monotubs come up with!
