Pumpkin Bread

This is a good food to get into the Halloween mood. :shuffle:

PUMPKIN BREAD:

1/2 Cup Margarine
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Pureed Pumpkin
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
1/4 Teaspoon Cloves
1/4 Teaspoon Ginger
1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips (Optional)
1/4 Cup Walnuts (Optional)

Mix well, spray breadpan with Pam, scoop into bread pan, smooth down, bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 45 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.

If you don't have pumpkin pie spice the recipe is:

PUMPKIN PIE SPICE:
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
1/8 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1/8 Teaspoon Ground Allspice

is this recipe actually tasty? I've made pumpkin soup and a bunch of other stuff with leftover jack-o-lantern and it has always been pretty gross. Now I just leave my pumpkin outside until the neighbourhood racoon Sebastien comes to get it.
