Lol people like to make up words so they can pawn off their "killer" weed on you.. Unless you know the guy who grew it, and knew he was honest enough to tell you what strain he was growing, than you really dont know.. And yeah it is a florida expression to call Good Kindbud "crip" or some shit... I think its stupid, but we all have our own terms. Its just Fluffy nugget kindbud, or mids, or shit. Thats it =} I've also heard people from Texas call it Crip. I call it WEED, Ganja, MJ, Dank, Bobmarley.. Mostly to be codish, and not so blatant.. Not to pretend my weed's better than it really is..

So everyone here agrees that different shrooms have basically the same effects? That it's mostly down to set and setting?
Well you're all mean because you're screwing with this poor guy's set ...He clearly expects to have a more pleasing trip on cyanescans so let him be

i guess, there is a difference between cyanescens, cubensis, semilanceata, azurescens etc. different concentrations of psilocybin, psilocin, baeocystin, nor-baeocystin and whatever is to be found in the mushrooms (i guess, these are the only compounds, but i don't know it) as for the cubensis vs cubensis debate, i guess there are MINOR differences it makes sense, that certain cubensis strains are a little bit more potent than other ones, but there shouldn't be a difference in the nature of the effects like "more visual", "more bodyload", "more mindfuck", "more lethargic", "more energetic", i think THAT is largely down to set and setting

Yeah I am gonna agree. I don't deny that there could be a minimal difference between strains of shrroms, but really man, I have had completely different feeling trips off the same amount of the same exact batch, so tell me how you can accurately tell the difference between strains? You can't. trips are affected by hundreds of variables and every aspect of the trip can change based on these.
So I want everyone to stop saying, "Oh my god you have to try this strain" after they try it once and have a good trip, or even if they take it ten times and have ten good trips, if you go in with the mindset that this strain gives you a good trip then your probably gonna have a good trip. But it isn't the mushroom it is your state of mind.
Just think about the nature of tripping for a minute and then if you still think that you could even tell if there is a difference between strains then whatever, believe whatever you want but the idea that someone would attribute a different feeling trip to something that has the same chemicals (albeit different levels of them) to the thing they tripped off last week seems ridiculous to me considering the breadth of experiences you can get off those chemicals just by changing very small aspects of your set and setting. Not to mention that placebo effects are extremely powerful with psychedelics.
just my 2 cents.
