those b. kini look awesome.

I noticed a few huge ganoderma species myself from last year. They seem to be capable of handling such harsh wiscompton winters.

How are those indigo's, I've never come across those. The spicey latex lact, are all over here;;

i have never eat any lactarius with white latex have you eat the peppery ones,

btw, do u do anything except hunt mushrooms? lol

yeah sometimes , when the mushrooms season is over, i have to work in other thing , right now i will help huichol´s indians to grow organic vegetable and make a study of the vegetation of the area if i find mushrooms i will include then in the list....my last job was to make a study about distribution and occurrence of edibles, what are the best specie to use as a culinary alternative , , that why i was so much in the woods , i thanks good to have that job , all the 90% of my job include to go hunting it turn pretty exhausting , by a few month , but the find of new species of edibles and others stuff compensate the hard job , i´m a biologist , and i love all nature i´m obsesses with mushrooms .all about mushrooms is interesting to me,
i try to read all i can about ..

i enjoy art , and how people get inspired by mushrroms in art , i wish i was a good paintor

when i was leaving the wood i notice a sting sensation in my arm when i pass some plants, i notice what was since that was no a irritating plant i mean like pioson ivy , then i said then what is was after a while i see the one that sting me this caterpillar , you see his hairy nedles , ouch.... ,

this is the picture of the only hypomyces i found, was looking for a place to sit it to take a picture ,and the trichocerus since to work ..

Cactu is my hero.

It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus.
All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the
octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV.
But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns.
Also he got a race car.
Is any of this getting through to you?

holy shit those catipillers are sweet. :eek:

cactu I do tons of things besides hunt, however I live in the middle of all kinds of different types of woods, so hunting is just too easy too not do. asfar as those peppery lact goes, I've tried them, they are increibly hot, and very latexy, they oooz hardcore. I've heard some old timers talk about blanching them in vinegar and salt, kinda like pickling them, which cuts the spiceyness and adds good flavor. They are an incredibly meaty mushroom, so I'm sure if you could kill that heat they would make for a luscious eats.
