As long as the oven isn't green he should be ok! Question for you trip: How many times have you used your enamled roaster in this manner? Do you think it is resistant to the corrosive holes that aluminum loaf pans suffer from?

This is the first "Roaster Tek" but I'm sure it wont disintegrate like aluminium.
It really is the perfect container.... Nice depth, nice size, opaque, seals decently (holds humidity fine), enamel is tough stuff!
That compost was spawned with rye berries (Cambodian) only 3 days ago!
Casing with coir/verm tomorrow.

What's with the heating pad in the oven? Doesn't the oven work? Why not use the oven if you need heat? This is a put on right? What do you do with the roasting pan when you want to make a pizza or bake a cake?

The heating pad keeps the temp at a nice 87F.
The oven element would be WAY too hot!
I never use my oven in the summer. ?To re-heat pizza or bake a potato, or broil a fish filet, I have a nice LARGE toaster-oven (2 cu. ft.)
This is no put-on! You saw the BEAUTIFUL mycelium didn't ya?
