I can't really see them well enough in your pictures to tell what you have.

Can you post some nice clear pictures?

What color are the gills?

Any sign of a ring on the stem?

Any sign of blue staining on the stem?

> i lost my digi camera charger...

Get another one and charge your camera at a friends house who has the same brand.

> What color are the gills? tannish brown

They should be dark purplish brown.

> Any sign of a ring on the stem? no , but not exactly sure what you mean

It may have fallen off. Search for pictures of Psilocybe cubensis and note the skirt like ring on the stem which is often covered in purple spores.

> Any sign of blue staining on the stem? yes but not much

Good.

> The cap is golden and darker toward the middle...

Also good.

by the way, for everyone who is trying to get those to be active. THEY ARE NOT ACTIVE.

And you should alway post pictures of fresh specimens if you are asking for ID.

I can tell you for sure they are not active.

I know what Genus they are not. It is very unlikely anyone on this site can tell you what species those are, because they are dry (the mushrooms, not the people) and the pictures aren't all that great. Although, I've seen much worse.

Well, I guess they could be Copelandia, but this is not an ID, and unfortunately, like I said, no one is going to want to ID them, since they are dry. I see what I think to be blue on the stipe, in the recent pic.

These are not Copelandia, those are much thinner.

The only active thing it could be is Psilocybe cubensis. But with these pics I can't tel if it is that or some other Stropharia or Agrocybe species. 50/50 from what I can see from here.

Those gills look way too light to be cubes.

I don't think they're actives. If they are, they're some really funky strain.

The top of the cap does look like it, but it is hard to see the stipe. Just remember: you must see blue stains on the stem.

you should use the site search more often, but take a look at the vender's list.

I don't know what u are talking about jet. Those are most likely active. They fit the profile of Psilocybe Cubensis. They also have blue bruising which is an obvious sign. The only thing I am curious about is the color of the gills which are a bit light. But hey, not all cubensis are the same. I think it is wrong of you to just flat out say that they are for sure not cubensis. They may very well be.

Really? Did you forget that P. cubensis has a veil?

They are not P. cubensis.

I agree, you don't know what I'm talking about.

They do not always have a veil.  Especially if they've been beat around, as these appear to be.

I can post photographic evidence of sporeless cubes with only a partial veil if need be.

Not sure what these are based on the photos...

sorry to be rude ,  but those are psilocybe cubensis , i know to probe it the poster will have to eat then  and  have the experience , for the bad pictures we have,  it seem that this  mushrooms come from the wild , from out door that why they look  so beat also look like is spores lees and don´t have to dark  gill ,i was thinking in some the gills were all bruised green , but the pictures don´t show good . the ring is missing  but that is because  one is used to see nice specimens , i will say i´m 100% sure  on that id, is there  other way to probe this?, since no spore print  can be take, maybe is he droop few water in the gills  and see what color came the spore or water....

the first pictures are not clear enough to confirm or deny anything. Tho, a low pic quality shot of cubes would look just like that
but this one
pretty much looks like cubes.

Basically, i think they probably are. I'm not going to go on record saying for certain because i cant make out that shitty photography. but people saying they definitely aren't active are really not trying hard enough to not be wrong.
