Some people definitely get violent on LSD, but those are usually the people who are doing the drug just to get high as apposed to more serious reasons. If all you want is a high, there are better drugs in the world than LSD.

But the article claims that one will still experience this feeling long after using the substance and that, we all know, is total bullshit.

I dont think that is total bullshit. I havent eaten mushies in months and still feel after effects. Everyone is different:bongload:

I agree, although it's not a radical change. One of the things that I notice the most in the week or two after an acid trip is that I am MUCH more inclined to draw/doodle on papers in school haha

Prescription drugs that mess with serotonin can have mental effects lasting days and sometimes weeks too, so I don't think it's an unreasonable claim. Just highly exaggerated by the media.

i have only ever had positive experiences on hallucinagens. I've had two flashbacks, nothing scary just the world going "wavy" and a few patterning affects.

I voted "Have lost touch with reality" in the sense that I was totally out there while tripping. Definitely not permanently.

As for flashbacks, I voted "Once". I was working at a printing factory and was working a small envelope printer. Suddenly the huge line of envelopes began to "ooze" and start to fractal bubble. It wasn't very intense but I did notice a tunnel vision effect and that extremely detailed hallucination. It lasted a couple minutes and went away when I turned my focus elsewhere. I didn't trip for about a year previous to this event. That was 16 years ago and I've tripped many, many times since then but have never experienced anything that could be called a flashback other than that.

I've had weird trip like effects, but I don't think they were "flashbacks," Our mind plays tricks on us all the time. It seems pretty impossible to have a flashback, the active ingredients of these drugs are completely gone after the effects leave. Theres nothing left to cause a flashback, unless there was some brain damage or something involved. Which again, I highly doubt.

I'd say hallucinogens and psychedelics are the same thing. They're different to disassociatives like ketamine, PCP. And empathogens like MDMA.
