i have a few colonized jars now i'm ready to birth them. what would you guys suggest best? using a machine humidifier? or an air bubbler with a cup of water inside the aquarium? i have both at the moment but not sure which is the best to use.

yah i was thinking about using wet perlite on the bottom of the aquarium. and then using a bubbler or a humidifier so there would be no need to fan out co2.

Perlite and an ultrasonic on a timer always worked for me. Don't run the ultrasonic directly into the chamber. Diffuse it with 3, 2 liter bottles connected sequentially with tubing.

Kind of OT, but what did you put your humidifier in?

well i have a cool moisture humidifier where i just need to add water and plug it in. thats not considered an ultrasonic humidifier right? i'm planning to design my chamber where i have the cool moisture humidifier connected to a hose which goes to the plastic box. then have a layer of moist perlite on the bottom of the box. the cool moisture humidifiers is one of those that are bought from a store.

In the closet of my old apartment with the fruiting chamber. That's the way I used to fruit PF cakes years ago when I started growing. My Martha was a big step up from rubbermaid bins.

well thing is my setup would be a hybrid between a martha and the rubber maid bin. i have a big rubber maid bin so i was thinking of using the humidifier to do the job. martha setup would take up to much space right now.
