that the one , you where asking me i see black spore in those and the slimy cap of gomphidius i guess is not Chroogomphus , since that day we not see mature specimen but i have other to make you remember but i will post tomorrow ,there are also the boletus with purple tone and sweet taste, some leccinum we did not see in those days, the forest floor was full of lactarius indigo , do you like the amanita flavoconia .some pictures look kind of blurry because it was on motion or the light was to dim , i was in the wood all afternoon with the family saying good bye to villarreallii and zapotecorum , and thank him all the effort they give this year ,
i have heard of amanita pulling brick but this was ridiculous i see in the road and notice more holes for past fruitings.....is a scleroderma specie

Exceptional finds Cactu. I like the strange L. indigo mutants.
Do you eat indigos? If so, what is your favored method for preparing them?

One night we fried some over a fire with some pork, it was excellent. Seriously some of the most tasty food ever.
We were talking about you as we ate it, and how this must taste the exact opposite of that infamous time you made blue soupy stuff. The other thing on the fire is peppermint tea.

That night we also ate Boletus edulis w/ Chanterelle:

hello all my favorite method to cook lactarius is one that over power the flavor of lactarius but still don´t compite against it , they should go in the same direction of flavor, lactarius indigo is not one of my best edibles , but in these days i can´t ask for more , the best edibles can be cook with just adding a bit of Sal and oil as Alan like to cook then , but that only work with the most delicious ones , i prefer the method of using butter and the sauteing thew mushrooms sometimes with out Sal, also melted cheese is the most easy option with all the good edibles i love amanita caesarea quesadillas, uhuuuhhuh. , but there are some mushrooms that their own taste is some how bitter, or strong , as lactarius they can turn into a lovely meal with the perfect combination, someone that love to cook with come with more ideas than i do , but , i will try the easy method. put some oil to boil just enough to saute some , onions, then latter put the lactarius , i have to add a bit of water, this make all the juices of the onion to combine with the lactarius, then if you like Sal you can add, i did not i put a bit of Chile Verde (green chilli)only a small amount not to spicy , just to add some punch to the flavor, and that it ,i always eat with tortillas when i do not , o do not fell a good taste perhaps you should try some good tortillas ..... that the easy way, i will give a bite to tell you the result .

i did like the taste however i was thinking i could improve it and add a bit of pork meat from this torta ahogada a common food in jalisco .....

the taste dramatically improve , so my recommendation is after you did the other step the onion and all, you can add some meat, i have done good combination with bacon, jam, pork meat,,not good combination with chicken and definitely not good with fish , no good combination with cheese , i did not like much with egg either so far with any meat is my best combination......

black trumpets, I've only found once on accident. They're so incredibly elusive, and I hear they're not a fan of the colder climates.
