Forgot to rinse my WBS !@$@

So I strained it and put it in a PC after it soaked for a day. Should I start over or just lay the LC to it and hope for the best??

That's not all you forgot to do, WBS contains alot of starch and oils. Im assuming you properlly prep'd it by removing the floating seeds (all the sunflower seeds) see'ing as these are the main reason why many people fail at WBS they contain millions of endospores....

cracked corn releases alot of starch and some sort of oil so after you've rinsed the WBS, removed the floaters and skimmed the surface so the water is at 100% clarity when the WBS is disturbed then your good to go

His tek lacks to mention the skimming but i'd recommend it.

Hope ive helped, take care.

You are probably OK.All grain has endospores and that is the very reason we PC in the 1st place.I have never been very anal about picking out sunflower seeds, take some out leave some in,it doesn't really matter as much as people make it sound. And I have actually used cracked corn by itself before so its not a problem either,it certainly isn't my grain of choice though and its a bit difficult getting the moisture right .But to answer your question I say knock it up and see what happens,if anything the seeds may clump together a bit from not rinsing but it could still work out fine...Good Luck:thumbup:
