Gills: White/Grey when younge, Dark purple when mature. Stem: Yellow/Brown, fairly stiff and brittle Spore Print: Purple These are pretty large shrooms...some caps 3" in diameter and stems up to I'd say almost 6" long. Im pretty new to the game of hunting but there has been quite a bit of rain up here in B-Ham so I'll prolly hit up a few parks soon.

That is far too large for Psilocybe coprophilia. Must be a Stropharia species.

psilocybe corophilia does not contain psilocin so wouldnt blue as an active psilocybe would.
Stamets states in PMOTW that it, "Sometimes bruises blueish in the mycelium". I wouldnt rely on blue bruising as a key for this species.

In the book I have it says that the Coprophilia is weakly hallucinagenic...I had a feeling it was the Stropharia...On another note I did find what I think to be Cyans but they seem too dark on the caps and bruise...kinda purplish/black...I'll put up a different ID request for this one in a bit.
