It's possible that in a weeks time I'll be moving to Phoenix so I was wondering if anyone from there (or have visited) could tell me how it is. I've never been to the west of the Mississippi so the opportunity to do so is exciting so let me know! Thanks!

It's okay. Its been 90+ the last few days, but hella windy. We have amazing sky here. Sunsets, sunrises and just anytime there is cloud cover. Lots of good camping, hiking & fishing areas too. Phoenix itself is a shit hole though, fyi.

I'm a Phoenix native and still live here. The city itself is a pretty crappy place. The people tend to suck, and there is not much to do here. Traffic is getting perceptively worse every year.
The weather would be considered nice by some. It gets hellishly hot in the summer time ((it's October 24th and 93F)), and down around 40-60 during winter. Barely ever rains, with the exception of "monsoon season" when we get a few excellent showers and dust storms. There aren't really distinct seasons like, say, Washington would have. We basically have Summer, Winter, and a few days in between.
As for Arizona, well, that's a different story. There's a ton of decent places to go when you need to get away. Plenty of hiking and camping. Make sure to take a trip to Sedona, Flagstaff, Payson, Prescott.
Tucson is Arizona's asshole, but there's some neat scenery down in southeastern AZ.
Hope I didn't make it sound too bad!

Haha, almost everyone's replies have been negative.
The only complaint I can really make is that it is damn hot during summertime, but you're coming down here at the perfect time.

I live out on the west side......... comfortably out-of range, behind Estrella Mountian. But I LOVE ARIZONA. Being a California native, Ive always been attracted to it for some reason. Good luck bro, Im sure you will think the people are assholes because they are. Phoenix turns you into one. Its the wild west out here!

How much is a good price?
I usually pick up 1 gram of pretty good shit for $15. I've never bought anywhere else but in Phoenix so I don't know what normal prices are.

Thanks guys! Yeah I'm KINDA used to that type of weather because Florida is kinda like that. It'll be an interesting experience indeed. So who wants to hang with the little Mississippian so he isn't crushed by the a-holes when I get there? lol

15 a gram is pretty average. 8ths range from 50-70 depending on what kind of bud though.
I just hate how people try to charge so much extra for brand name shit, I know it's not my buddy I'm getting it from because he's really tight, they just make him pay out the assload for these ounces or whatever he's getting.

I hate it here. It has been my life goal to move out. Looks like I will be able to escape in a year and a half or so.

Just wanted to update and say that I'm finally here...although it's pretty rainy which I hear isn't common. The airport lost one of my bags though but I got to see a herd of sheep so I'm happy
As you can see by the date I was supposed to be here months ago but things kept getting pushed back but hey...everything happens for a reason right?
I can't wait to learn my way around this place and meet new people though.

Haha, my aunt and uncle live in Ahwatukee.
Enjoy that rain. Hopefully it will be there in july/august. The monsoons are amazing, more so further into the Sonora, like Tucson. Be prepared for hell on Earth come summer time, 'specially in PHX. Don't buy a dark colored vehicle or one with dark colored interior.

Yeah it isn't as rainy today but alas I'm stuck at the apartment
I mean I guess I could walk around the complex but they didn't leave me a key so I don't want to just leave the door unlocked. I'm bored someone entertain me! lol
It seems like a cool place though..just can't wait until I make friends and get a job so I'll have something to do.
