What haven't you seen? The only one that I haven't seen is Dune because I eventually want to read the book first. I've just never gotten around to it.

I really only liked Blue Velvet.
Movies like Mulholland Drive and Eraserhead just seem self-indulgent to me.

You've definitely got to see Wild At Heart ASAP. It's not as good as Blue Velvet, but it's still really fucking good.

I have loved several of his movies, especially Eraserhead which is brilliant.
I watched 'Inland Empire' as soon as it was released on dvd a few weeks ago. Very good Lynch movie.
I want to see 'Lost Highway' but strangely Blockbuster doesn't carry it.

If you play the video in my signature and fast forward it to the 7 minute mark you can see a pretty good clip from Lost Highway with Robert Loggia yelling at some guy for tailgating. It's pretty amusing.

I completely agree. There's a good weid and then there's weird that's so strange it doesn't make any sense. I like blue velvet but eraserhead and mulholland drive what the fuck?
What was that one lynch flick where that old man is riding his lawn mower cross country? I thought that was really retarded.
Ps. I had no idea he did dune

Rabbits is his best work imo. So fucking good and disturbing, the laugh track and plot are perfect. I love Rabbits so much. I still need to do a heroic dose and watch it though.

Ok that explains it. There were several clips from that in 'Inland Empire' and I was wondering where the hell he came up with that.

Has anyone seen the dvd of short lynch animations? I thought that was pretty horrible for the most part too.
Maybe I need to watch mulholland drive again I only saw it once and was real fucked up.

so i saw wild at heart
it was cool but a bit too south for me
i still liked it
theres always a unique sort of sexuality to his films
i think wild at heart sorta overdid it though
i think fire walk with me is probobly one of his greatest
even though the sexuality in that one is a heck of lot more intense
everyone find fire walk with me
itll blow your mind

I didn't care much for Fire Walk With Me, mostly because I am a huge fan of the Twin Peaks series and I felt that some more of the characters should have been involved in the movie. I realized that it is a story of Laura Palmer's life before her death, but still I would have liked to have seen more from the other characters. The Laura parts of the storyline was never my favorite part of the show. Although I must say, seeing Sheryl Lee's tits so much was really nice.
