Time Lapse with Dorgem
    #7553742 - 10/24/07 05:23 AM (16 years, 3 months ago)

I just recently downloaded dorgem for making a time lapse video.

But it seems that every time it takes a picture, it doesnt change the file name, so it over writes the last picture taken

Is there a way to have it rename the files so they are like, timelaps1 timelaps2 timelaps3 etc.

Ok i just figured it out by using the avi option  but when taking pictures it still doesnt make seperate files for each shot taken

You need to make it end each file with %g%G or something like that. You specify that when you set up the filename. I use dorgem myself, but have to figure it out each time because I don't make that many avi's anymore. There is definitely a way to stop it from writing each jpg over the preceding one. After compiling the jpg's in Dorgem, I use makeavi to put them together into a movie with whatever compression you need.
