Here are some pics from my ramblings and searching for fungus. Anyone else in the PNW tired of seeing these guys? I wish MattSo's cyanescens would come down to Portland to kick these freeloaders out of the wood chips.

 bird's nest fungi
 obligatory amanita shot
 coral
 pholiota
 mycena
 coprinus
 others

I like the "freeloaders" part. Great pictures as always! Aren't you going to name them all for us?

Hahahaha!!! The three most common indicator species!! They are such good photo subjects, but goddamn.... Yeah, they are intrusive!

That's what is so frustrating!! They ARE indicators but they need to be a little more specific with their indicating.

Umm... No.
These three species are extremely common in my area (north CA), much more so than cyans.
They are indicators, but no guarantee.

When I went hunting I found hundreds of the indicators.
I searched that park for 4 hours and its tiny tiny park.
finally after going over everything the 5th time around. Being more through each time. I found my little tiny first patch =P.
They are there, you just have to look hard enough.
