when inoculating half pint jars I inoculate at four different points with a quarter cc at each of the points. I am ready to inoculate some quart jars with rye berries. How many cc's and how many points should I inoculate them with? Thanks.

only one point. depends on how full your jars are. If there full to the top (i don't reccomend this) sguirt enough so it leaks down to the bottom. look up the poly-fill teck. helped me out a bundle.

Rye jars should only be 2/3 full when cooked, so you can shake the grain. This said, you inoculate only at 1 point, 1-2 ml per jar and then shake the jar.

You shake the jar a second time once ou see growth in around 10 percent of the jars surface.

really only at one point? is this better then spreading the spores thru like 4 points? if so could you explain why?

You only need to innocculate at one point because you SHAKE the grain to spread the spores onto all the grain surfaces, there is no need to innocculate more than once.
