ID Request Pacific Northwest

I have no clue what this is and its driving me crazy. I'm getting pretty good with the mushroom ID, and being stumped by this mushroom in my own yard is annoying. I'm really hopping that its active too. Please let me know what you experts think.

Habitat: beneath a cotton wood tree, in fallen leaves and dead wood, creeping out into the lawn.

Gills: greyish tan, attached, close.

Stem: thin, long, offwhite to light tan, slightly fibrous, branches off into many root like fibers at the end.

Cap: 2 inches wide at most, some much smaller. comes to slightly rounded point at top, flares at the very edge. light brown, tan, to almost offwhite. Slightly zoned. Younger cap has white fibers around edge.

Spore print color: purple/brown

Bruising: Stem does not turn color when bruised, cap turns greyish purple.

Location: Pacific northwest

In or near what city did you find that mushroom?

aw yeah, looked up Psathyrella and that totally fits. Oh well! I got lotsa libs anyway.

Childofthecedars, is that your artwork? hope you don't mind I checked out your website. I often nosily look at people's photobuckets, webpages, and galleries when they post photos from off-site pages. By the way, I enjoyed the work, good stuff. Could go on and on talking about a couple pieces. But I won't for now.
