The Pursuit of Happiness.
That was one damn sad story for being called The Pursuit of Happiness. But I liked it. Even though I got laughed at for crying.

I watched yesterday the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. I think it was quite good. Not once I got bored during that nearly 3 hour long movie. I have only seen the second one before and I wouldn't say that one was better than other. They were quite similar, only scenario was different.

I just rented Death Proof (Tarantino). I actually liked it, despite hearing some bad reviews from friends. I plan on seeing 30 Days of Night sometime this week. I don't know that I'll like it, but it's been recommended by a good-tasted friend.

The last movie I saw was Nightmare on Elm Street 5 - The Dream Child.
It was a complete piece of shit. Terrible. I liked one through four of that series but now I'm worried about watching ANoES 6 tonight, fearing it might be just as shitty as 5. Everything was over the top, Freddy Krueger was a parody of himself and the formula of the series was almost completely done away with.
At one hour I said to myself: OK, now just thirty more minutes and I'm done with it. I was relieved it lasted only 20 more minutes.

Dear God. I could barely handle King Kong Vs Godzilla on shrooms.. let along a horror movie. Although it's damn near a comedy really. That show was so cheesy.
Question: Wasn't that "Nightmare on Elm Street 5" movie released in 3D in the theatres?
I always get pissed when I miss movies that are released 3d in the theatre cuz I always miss it and they NEVER friggin release the 3d version on DVD.
Actually.. I really just want to get a hold of some 3d glasses. That's probably all it is

I saw that and was dissapointed in it. Now if I was in my 60's I might have found it entertaining. I think they should have given them some shrooms or something during filming.

I like this thread now because I don't feel pressured to rate, but will anyway at my leisure.
The Hunt - 2020 Weird comedy horror full of political and social commentary. Very tongue placed firmly in cheek/butt hole. The protagonist was really good though (the winner). She reminded me of Sandra Bullock for some reason. Worth a watch IMHE. Maybe a 2.5-3.5 out of 5 stars. Yeah, I used a .5 rating system in my 5 stars, mmmmmkay?
