I've been enjoying all the horror movies on TV for halloween

Prom Night 3
Poltergeist 2
Beetlejuice
Ginger Snaps

Some of those I'm sure are really bad but I like most horror movies, even if they're really bad you can just laugh and pretend it's a comedy.

i love movies, i rent them biweekly (if not more) and have that DVD pass at blockbuster (I am in love with blue ray).

i just rented momento again since i hadn't seen it in a while - just went up there today and got 'invisible' - well see how that is

i have the blockbuster netflix-type plan
its incredible, the mail movies can be traded for store movies. such a bomb deal.
and bluray is the SHIT! (depends on the TV too)
edit: and momento is amazing

Funny, the more I see Memento, the more I don't like it.

Last movie I saw was, sadly, Cache. I've had NetFlix for months, but haven't actually used it in like two months. I HAVE to get on that.

The Amityville Horror. Watched it last night. It didn't really hold up too well (made in 1979) horror movies today are just so much scarier.

horror movies back then are great - but without the special effects of today that we're so used to - they just dont get us the same.

anybody seen Event Horizon?

Seriously. They highly favor shock imagery and surprise as opposed to actual horror. Which is pretty much the McDonalds equivalent of horror movies.

Oooh my, The Thing is a REALLY GOOD horror movie and it even has pretty amazing special effects by today's standards. All latex and foam too, no computer effects because there were no computers to speak of

But a really nice oldskool horror film where its all about suspense is Rosemary's Baby. Its from the 60s but still packs a wallop.
And there's a Datura trip scene thats pretty outstanding.

just got done watching the bourne ultimatum, instead of doing my paper. it was alright. some great fucking action scenes. hardcore, bone-crunching fights and all. that's what i wanted out of it, so i was rather pleased.

I love the bourne trilogy. I would rank them 1,3,2 with 1 being the best.
